A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Hey Y'all! My name is Kimberly. I am the owner/creator of Simply Charming Wreaths.

I have always loved to decorate and make things pretty.  I realized that I was creative at a young age. I won first place at the states fair with a picture that I drew  of a witch  for Halloween.  As a teenager  I won first place again at the state fair for a flower arrangement that I created. ( One of my favorite things to do ).

Making beautiful things makes my soul sing! It brings me peace and gives me an outlet to express my creativity.

God gave me this talent and it brings me so much joy to share it with the world. Everything I create has my heart in it and I love sharing  that with my customers.

I love my family! I have been blessed with a wonderful supportive husband and two terrific sons. My children are grown and my youngest is in college. ( College is soooo expensive). He is the inspiration for Simply charming Wreaths. I started making wreaths to sale to help pay for his college tuition.

I work full time as a nurse and absolutely love my career choice. Once I received my degree in nursing.... life began. Responsibilities of raising children and working a full-time job didn't allow much time for me to create. Now that my children are grown I have time for myself and I can release my creativity.

In October of 2016 I made my first wreath. It was a Halloween wreath for my front door!!! ( I didn't like the wreaths that I saw in the stores, I thought they were poor quality and very expensive) I shared a picture of the wreath on my Facebook page and the next thing I knew I was making wreaths for all of my friends, family and co-workers! I realized then I could make and sale wreaths to help pay for my sons college. In April 2017 I decided to  open my Etsy shop which has been a blessing to my family.

That pretty much sums it up.

I’m glad you are here!

Feel free to visit my Facebook page to view wreaths that I have made and sold locally and prior to opening my etsy shop.
